Spabox review

Some time ago I’ve been asked if I’d like to try some of the products from Czech website Spabox.cz (Facebook: Spa box) and I finally tested them all out so I can give better review 🙂
Most of the products on the website are cruelty free and are ethically sourced from various European countries like Italy etc. This post maybe especially interesting for people living in Eastern Europe as it’s relatively close to Czech Republic and exchange rate can be very attractive for some countries – basically you get quality products for a good price! 🙂

I’ve been given 4 products: hand cream, bath bomb, shampoo bar and a soap. Let’s start!

Shampoo bar – very moisturizing, foams easily and smells nice. It’s quite heavy in consistency so works the best on dry but healthy hair. It reminds me a lot of Lush shampoo bars so it’s a great alternative for people who do not have access to/money for Lush products. My hair is really damaged from bleaching (I’ve gone for silver hair few months ago) so it needs very light products, however if you’ve got healthy, not very damaged hair this is gonna work great for you!

Honey hand cream – very light consistency, quickly dries on skin and moisturizes hands very well plus smells lovely! Good travel size and metal packaging makes it easy to pop in your bag and always have with you!

Mini milky bath bomb – very nice girly, pink candy/strawberry smell, foams lovely skin feels moisturized afterwards. Great little product if you fancy relaxing bath plus the price is SO good 🙂

Rose soap – couldn’t find a link 😦
Smells like roses, skin feels really soft and moisturized and it lasts for ages (even though it’s small)! I still have it and have been using it for couple of weeks now:)

All in all I think the website is worth having a look – you may need to translate some products though:) I saw that now they’ve introduced cruelty free, natural make up products as well so it’s very exciting! Very affordable prices and good quality is something that I’m always looking for in cruelty free cosmetics.
So feel free having a little browse and I hope this review helps someone! 🙂 xx

Arbonne FC5 skin care review

Hello everyone! This week I was lucky enough to be able to test some of the Arbonne skin care products:) If you’re not aware of this brand yet where have you been?;) The brand is completely cruelty free/some products are vegan – approved by PETA & Leaping Bunny.

They plant their ingredients and all products are free from artificial colours, fragrances, parabens etc. So you can be sure that whatever you use has been ethically sourced and is 100% natural yay! Arbonne offers wide range of products from body & hair care to nutrition and make up so there’s something for everyone. Price wise the brand isn’t the cheapest but the quality is definitely worth it and products last for ages!

The line I tested is called FC5 and is dedicated for normal/dry skin.

The products I tried were:

-Purifying cleanser & toner

-Nurturing day lotion

-Intense hydration mask

-Moisturizing Night Creme

My favorite ones were definitely cleanser and day cream. My skin felt lovely after washing and applying cream. I didn’t even feel like I needed to apply any foundation, cause the skin looked so fresh and even! The cleanser is also vegan and gluten free which is a big bonus! All products smell beautiful, very fresh and lemony. I’ve had some post-period spots on my face and after 2 days of using above products my skin started clearing out and looking very healthy and dewy! 🙂

In general I’m not a fan of face masks so can’t really say much about this one. My skin felt nice and moisturized but it felt the same way after applying night cream. I guess for someone with dry skin it would be perfect as it comes in a form of a light cream that absorbs very quickly and you forget that you wearing a mask at all!

Night cream is quite thick (which is a plus) and very moisturizing – maybe because my skin is normal it was a little too moisturizing and in the morning my face was a little bit too oily, but again it says normal/dry skin so it would work lovely for someone with drier skin than mine 🙂

All in all I’m really impressed with the products. Creams definitely had great formula and consistence and reminded me a lot of my all time favorites Clinique Dramatic Moisturizer and Benefit’s night cream. The fact that the brand does not test on animals and creates such a high quality products is very promising and makes me believe that soon we’ll be able to buy cruelty free products in any drug store with confidence that no innocent animals were harmed in the process 🙂

I also wanted to add that the post isn’t sponsored and the views are mine & completely honest 🙂

Favourite skincare products

Hello everyone!

I can’t wait to share with you my biggest discovery this year! (I know it’s only 19th January BUT this is BIG)

Recently I’ve had a quite big problem with spots on my face. Like never, my face decided to look shitty and cover itself in annoying pimples mainly on my chin, forehead and right cheek(!) – very particular choice. As I’ve never been a fan of face masks I thought well it’s New Year New Me kinda vibe I might try something new. So I went to Lush and told the sales assistant what I’m after. She offered me 2 antibacterial options: garlic face mask or lemon (that is smurf blue color!) I went for the latter and OH MY GOD best choice ever! After 2 uses all the blemishes are gone! As the mask consistence is creamy but also peeling-like so it’s great for exfoliating. My face feels amazing and skin looks very radiant and fresh! I’m in love with this product and use it twice a week and it works miracles ❤

Ok so that’s it about the mask, and below have a look at the list of my fave face products that I’ve tried and tested and I’m happy to settle for a long time with 🙂
